On this day, special emphasis will be placed on new developments and innovations that exist in the market and that can be an opportunity for the sector. Part of the information presented has been obtained within the framework of the following actions and projects: Plans for the improvement of agricultural fertilization.
Demonstration activities (Operation 01.02.01 (technology transfer) of the PDR of Catalonia 2014-2022):
• Implementation of innovative weeding systems to reduce the use of herbicides in extensive crops (INNODES).
• Common wheat variety evaluation network. New requirements of the producing sector (RED WHEAT).
• Evaluation network of new barley varieties. Contribution of plant material to the new challenges of the sector (ORDI NETWORK).
• Rapeseed variety evaluation network. Improvement of sustainability and new marketing options (RED COL-ZA).

• Introduction of innovative agronomic practices in the cultivation of winter rapeseed to increase production and quality (PROCOLZA).
