In political discussions and after-dinner conversations, local production and proximity sales are often used to talk about sustainability and food sovereignty. In the current context of climate urgency, it is necessary for our agri-food system to improve its resilience and promote sustainability in the fight against and mitigation of the effects of climate change. To reach this point, a vision based on deconstructing prejudices and shedding light on environmental confusions must be built.
In this session, we will talk about how to improve and measure sustainability in the agri-food sector and discuss the issues we may encounter, as well as the challenges we face.
