BDporc is a representative Service to pig companies Other services offered by BDporc: database and a digital platform at the service of the pig sector. It offers reference information and benchmarking to its member
companies and recognizes the best farms in the annual edition of the Porc d’Or awards.
With a history of data dating back to the 1990s, the BDporc system currently manages the data of almost one million white and Iberian layer breeders, which represents almost 50% of the national census. In 2015 BDporc went international, also managing data from Portugal and Colombia, through agreements between IRTA and their respective national associations.
