Dra. Elena Costa is (1994), holds a degree in Food Science and Technology (1997) and a PhD in Food Science and Technology (2001) from the University of Lleida. Since 2002 he has been working at IRTA, in the technical service of Postharvest, advising companies in the sector, especially fruit and vegetable seed and stone fruit plants, in all aspects related to the stages of postharvest from the conservation, postharvest treatment and use of dynamic atmospheres and inhibitors of the action of ethylene.
