Macroalgae as an opportunity to diversify aquaculture activities

The General Directorate of Maritime Policy and Sustainable Fisheries, within the framework of the Annual Transfer and Technology Plan (PATT), in collaboration with the General Mediterranean Fisheries Commission (GFCM) of the United Nations Organization for Food and Agriculture (FAO) and the Institute of Agro-Food Research and Technology (IRTA) of La Ràpita, organizes the Day of Restorative Aquaculture in the Mediterranean: macroalgae, an opportunity to diversify aquaculture activity.

The aim is to present the agreement between the Department of Climate Action, Food and Rural Agenda (DACC) and the CGPM, an innovative initiative to promote the creation of a Restorative Aquaculture center in the Western Mediterranean, and aims to promote and transfer knowledge to develop this economic activity between producers and
interested companies.

There will be a simultaneous translation service in Catalan and English
