Maria Torné has a degree in Agronomy with more than 31 years of career in CORTEVA and previous experience as a technical advisor in ADV in Catalonia, Spain. He led the development of different insecticides such as Spinosad, Spinetoram and Sulfoxaflor in many crops using different formulations. He is a member of the EPPO Insecticide Committee as a representative of the ECPA. He is currently the world leader in biology for the biological control of insects at CORTEVA, based in Madrid.
