Jordi Giné Bordonaba, is an Agricultural Technical Engineer (Universitat Rovira i Virgili, 2003), Agricultural Engineer (University of Lleida, 2006), MSc Environmental Diagnostics (Cranfield University, 2007) and Doctor in Postharvest Biosciences from the University of Cranfield (2010).
Since 2011 he has been working as a researcher in the IRTA Postharvest program studying mainly the physiology and biochemistry associated with the maturation processes in stone fruits and seeds as well as the use of molecular tools and biomarkers to predict the incidence of pathophysiology in postharvest. He has participated in multiple national and international projects, has led an INIA project and has 1 patent, 37 scientific publications and several book chapters.
