Jordi Gené Mola is a Mechanical Engineer (UdL, 2013), Master in Industrial Engineering (UdL, 2015), Master in Artificial Vision (UAB, 2018), and PhD in Agricultural Technology (UdL, 2020). In 2023 he joined IRTA as a researcher. His research activity has focused on the use of optical sensors, computer vision and artificial intelligence in agriculture. He uses this knowledge specifically for the development of different methodologies for counting and measuring fruits. He is also currently working on remote sensing and artificial intelligence methods for crop mapping and efficient agricultural water management.”
