Estanis Torres holds a PhD in Agricultural Engineering with a Master's Degree in Research in Agri-Food Production Systems from the University of Lleida. Since 2006 he has been working at IRTA as a specialist researcher in the Fruit Growing Program. His main areas of research are the use of VIS-NIR technology in the different stages of cultivation, fertilization and response of plants to abiotic stress, the development of strategies for the prediction and mitigation of pathophysiology. , the regulation of the load, and the improvement of the quality of the fruits. He has participated in numerous research projects and made presentations and communications at national and international conferences, and is the author of more than 40 articles in technical and scientific journals of international impact.
