Ana Roque focused her research in the last 10 years on the welfare of aquaculture fish. She has a BA in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Lisbon and a PhD in Aquaculture from the University of Stirling. The development of his research is directed to the development of treatment protocols and their validation and to the validation of operational indicators of well-being. Currently, part of the research is funded by humanitarian organizations and aquaculture associations. She is the author of more than 80 international peer-reviewed articles and several book chapters.
