The training of qualified auditors in the inspection of animal welfare according to the Welfare Quality protocols is an essential requirement to guarantee the quality of the certification.

IRTA regularly organizes auditor training and qualification courses in collaboration with the different experts from the Welfare Quality Network.

10.00-13.00 - Behavior measures
1:00-2:00 p.m. - Lunch
14.00- 17.00 - Health measures and order of measures on the farm

8.30-13.00 - Visit to the fattening farm
1:00-2:00 p.m. - Lunch
14.00-17.00 – Conclusions and doubts about the practice. repeatabilities
Wednesday May 11
9.00 -13.00 – Repeatability
1:00-2:00 p.m. - Lunch
14:00-17:00 – Repeatability. Conclusions and doubts
Thursday May 11
8.30 – 13.00 - Theoretical exam and practical exam.
1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. - Delivery of certificates and closing of the course.
Note: the schedules may undergo slight variations depending on the training needs of the students.
