This course offers a practical and theoretical overview of the use of organic biomass in regenerative agriculture. Participants will learn to identify the different types of organic biomass and how they can be applied to improve soil health and promote the regeneration of agricultural ecosystems.
Topics will be discussed such as the incorporation of microorganisms into the soil through these materials, the synergies between soil work and the contribution of organic matter, as well as the benefits that cover crops can bring to soil regeneration. In addition, visits to test plots and regenerative agricultural farms are included to observe their application in extensive and fruit crops.
