Agricultural Engineer, specializing in Zootechnics, from the School of Agricultural Engineering of the University of Lleida (ETSEA - UdL). Agricultural Technical Engineer in Agricultural Holdings, from the Barcelona School of Agriculture of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (ESAB - UPC). Postgraduate in European Agriculture and Community Agricultural Policy from the ETSEA in Lleida and Cooperative Business Management Program at ESADE Business School. In the professional field, he had been the managing director of the Farmers ’Union of Catalonia. He was also the manager of the consulting company specializing in the agricultural and forestry sector Àmbit Rural SL, as well as technical director and product marketing of the company providing services to farmers and ranchers Agroxarxa SLU. He worked as a patron of the Fundació Pagesos Solidaris and the Fundació Lluís Nomen for the prevention of occupational risks in the agricultural sector, and was a member of the Editorial Board of the magazine La Terra.
He had previously coordinated a team of professionals specializing in agricultural advice at the agricultural management and services company Eurup SL. On the other hand, he was a founding member of the ecological and sustainable consumer cooperative Germinal Sarrià and is associated with different credit and consumer cooperatives. It also has links with the Catalan Institution of Agricultural Studies (ICEA). He is a member of the College of Agricultural Engineers of Catalonia.
