Doctor in Veterinary Medicine (1996), in the branch of Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology, from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Zaragoza. I developed my research activity in the Laboratory of Pharmacology and Physiology of this faculty from 1990 to 1996. From then until 2004, he worked as a specialist veterinarian in pigs for Cargill España SA and Picber, SA From 2004 to 2010, he worked as a full-time researcher for CReSA in the department of epidemiology, disease control and clinical trials. He also participated as an expert in the European Medicines Agency which is responsible for evaluating the registration of new veterinary medicines and vaccines at European level for three years (2005-2008). From 2010 to the present, I work as an associate professor of Epidemiology and Pharmacology at the University of Lleida. In this position he participates in the Master of Health and Pig Production and in the double degree of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science and Production. My research focuses on optimizing preventive medicine programs in production animals and my lines of work are clinical pharmacology, epidemiology and applied immunology. Finally, during my academic and professional experience, I published 108 articles in international scientific journals.
