NOVATERRA Project Final Event

About the activity

Results and highlights towards more sustainable Mediterranean vineyards and olive groves

The event will cover the project highlights and conclusions achieved during a 4-year collaborative research focused on developing integrated novel strategies for reducing the use and impact of pesticides, towards sustainable Mediterranean vineyards and olive groves. 22 partners from 6 different countries in Europe and very diverse backgrounds have joined forces to develop and test alternative plant protection products (biopesticides and biocontrol agents), smart farming techniques (DSS and platforms) and soil management strategies for improving crop health. The event will cover the solutions from a multi-actor approach and will count on the presence of a panel of experts to discuss the future of sustainable strategies for crop management, influence on policymaking and networking opportunities for future collaborative research.
