Dr. Luis González is a Technical Forestry Engineer (University of Lleida, 2009), Master in Integrated Crop Protection (University of Lleida, 2011) and PhD in Plant Physiology (University of Lleida, 2019). He has been a researcher at IRTA since 2023. He is an applied physiologist of fruit crops. His experience is based on applied research and extension on fruit production problems. He currently works on issues such as fruit quality, crop load management, training systems, irrigation and precision agriculture. He has spent the last 3 years in a postdoctoral position at Cornell University, working with fruit growth dynamics and abiotic stress response.
