She has been the creator and head of the New Technologies for Food Processing research group since 1995.&#13;\nHe has received various awards for his excellence in research such as ICREA Academy 2008 and Narc\u00eds Monturiol Medal 2018, in Catalonia, as well as his incorporation as an IFT Fellow of the US Institute of Food Technology in 2015 and a member of the Academy of the \u201cInternational Union of Food Science and Technology\u201d (IAFoST), in 2016, internationally.<\/p>\n\n<p>She is President of the Spanish Society of Food Engineering (ISFE), Spanish Ambassador of the Global Harmonization Initiative (GHI).
