The Transfrontier Meeting on Sensors and Biosensors reaches its 28th edition. The TMSB began in 1996 at the initiative of Profs. Salvador Alegret (Universitat Aut\u00f2noma de Barcelona), Jean-Louis Marty (Universit\u00e9 de Perpignan) and Maurice Comtat (Universit\u00e9 Paul Sabatier), which brought together researchers from the Euroregion between France and Spain (Catalonia, Languedoc-Roussillon and Midi-Pyre\u00e9n\u00e9es) and nearby, with the aim of showing the latest achievements in the field of sensors and biosensors and establishing new contacts and collaboration networks between the different groups. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since then, it has become an annual meeting. Although this meeting is intended to be of interest to the entire scientific community, one of its main objectives is to help young researchers gain experience in the public dissemination of their results, and to discuss and ask about the research work with other colleagues in a relaxed and friendly environment. Therefore, young PhD students will be prioritised to communicate their work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Transfrontier Meeting on Sensors and Biosensors reaches its 25th edition and, for the first time, is going to be held online. The TMSB began in 1996 at the initiative of Profs. Salvador Alegret (Universitat Aut\u00f2noma de Barcelona), Jean-Louis Marty (Universit\u00e9 de Perpignan) and Maurice Comtat (Universit\u00e9 Paul Sabatier), which brought together researchers from the Euroregion between France and Spain (Catalonia, Languedoc-Roussillon and Midi-Pyre\u00e9n\u00e9es) and nearby, with the aim of showing the latest achievements in the field of sensors and biosensors and establishing new contacts and collaboration networks between the different groups. Since then, it has become an annual meeting, except last year. This year we did not want to miss the opportunity to meet again, and we decided to do it virtually. Although the meeting is intended to be of interest to the entire scientific community, one of its main objectives is to help young researchers gain experience in the public dissemination of their results, and to discuss and ask about the research work with other colleagues in a relaxed and friendly environment. Therefore, young PhD students will be prioritised to perform oral communications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
